ā€œMendicants, those mendicants who explain what is not the teaching as not the teaching are acting for the welfare and happiness of the people, for the people, for the benefit, welfare, and happiness of gods and humans. ā€œYe te, bhikkhave, bhikkhÅ« adhammaṁ adhammoti dÄ«penti te, bhikkhave, bhikkhÅ« bahujanahitāya paį¹­ipannā bahujanasukhāya, bahuno janassa atthāya hitāya sukhāya devamanussānaṁ. They brim with much merit and make the true teaching continue.ā€ BahuƱca te, bhikkhave, bhikkhÅ« puƱƱaṁ pasavanti, te cimaṁ saddhammaṁ į¹­hapentÄ«ā€ti.
