āMendicants, possessing five factors a wheel-turning monarchās eldest son continues to wield the power set in motion by his father only in a principled manner. āPaƱcahi, bhikkhave, aį¹ gehi samannÄgato raƱƱo cakkavattissa jeį¹į¹ho putto pitarÄ pavattitaį¹ cakkaį¹ dhammeneva anuppavatteti; And this power cannot be undermined by any human enemy. taį¹ hoti cakkaį¹ appaį¹ivattiyaį¹ kenaci manussabhÅ«tena paccatthikena pÄį¹inÄ.
What five? Katamehi paƱcahi? A wheel-turning monarchās oldest son knows what is right, knows principle, knows moderation, knows the right time, and knows the assembly. Idha, bhikkhave, raƱƱo cakkavattissa jeį¹į¹ho putto atthaĆ±Ć±Å« ca hoti, dhammaĆ±Ć±Å« ca, mattaĆ±Ć±Å« ca, kÄlaĆ±Ć±Å« ca, parisaĆ±Ć±Å« ca. A wheel-turning monarchās oldest son who possesses these five factors continues to wield the power set in motion by his father only in a principled manner. In the same way, possessing five qualities SÄriputta rightly keeps rolling the supreme Wheel of Dhamma that was rolled forth by the Realized One. Evamevaį¹ kho, bhikkhave, paƱcahi dhammehi samannÄgato sÄriputto tathÄgatena anuttaraį¹ dhammacakkaį¹ pavattitaį¹ sammadeva anuppavatteti; And that wheel cannot be turned back by any ascetic or brahmin or god or MÄra or divinity or by anyone in the world. taį¹ hoti cakkaį¹ appaį¹ivattiyaį¹ samaį¹ena vÄ brÄhmaį¹ena vÄ devena vÄ mÄrena vÄ brahmunÄ vÄ kenaci vÄ lokasmiį¹.
