Right View Sammādiṭṭhisutta

“Mendicants, when a mendicant has four things their practice is unfailing, and they have laid the groundwork for ending the defilements. “Catūhi, bhikkhave, dhammehi samannāgato bhikkhu apaṇṇakappaṭipadaṁ paṭipanno hoti, yoni cassa āraddhā hoti āsavānaṁ khayāya. What four? Katamehi catūhi? Thoughts of renunciation, good will, and harmlessness; and right view. Nekkhammavitakkena, abyāpādavitakkena, avihiṁsāvitakkena, sammādiṭṭhiyā—When a mendicant possesses these four things their practice is unfailing, and they have laid the groundwork for ending the defilements.” imehi kho, bhikkhave, catūhi dhammehi samannāgato bhikkhu apaṇṇakappaṭipadaṁ paṭipanno hoti, yoni cassa āraddhā hoti āsavānaṁ khayāyā”ti.
