Visiting Families Kulūpakasutta
āMendicants, a mendicant with five qualities who visits families is unlikable and disagreeable, not respected or admired. āPaƱcahi, bhikkhave, dhammehi samannÄgato kulÅ«pako bhikkhu kulesu appiyo ca hoti amanÄpo ca agaru ca abhÄvanÄ«yo ca. What five? Katamehi paƱcahi? They act as though theyāre close to people they hardly know. They give away things they donāt own. They over-associate with close friends. They whisper in the ear. And they ask for too much. AsanthavavissÄsÄ« ca hoti, anissaravikappÄ« ca, vissaį¹į¹hupasevÄ« ca, upakaį¹į¹akajappÄ« ca, atiyÄcanako ca.
