Those people who honor the elder “Ye vuḍḍhamapacāyanti, are experts in the teaching; narā dhammassa kovidā; praised in this life, Diṭṭheva dhamme pāsaṁsā, they’re destined for happiness in the next. samparāye ca suggatī”ti.
