A Perfected One Arahantasutta
āWhen a mendicant is perfected, proficient, āYo hoti bhikkhu arahaį¹ katÄvÄ«, with defilements ended, bearing the final body: KhÄ«į¹Äsavo antimadehadhÄrÄ«; would they say, āI speakā, Ahaį¹ vadÄmÄ«tipi so vadeyya, or even āthey speak to meā?ā Mamaį¹ vadantÄ«tipi so vadeyyÄāti.

āSomeone who has given up conceit has no ties, āPahÄ«namÄnassa na santi ganthÄ, the ties of conceit are all dissipated. VidhÅ«pitÄ mÄnaganthassa sabbe; Though that intelligent person has transcended conceiving, Sa vÄ«tivatto maƱƱataį¹ sumedho, theyād still say, āI speakā, Ahaį¹ vadÄmÄ«tipi so vadeyya.
