Perceptions Saññāsutta
At Sāvatthī. Sāvatthiyaṁ viharati.
“What do you think, Rāhula? “Taṁ kiṁ maññasi, rāhula, Is perception of sights permanent or impermanent?” rūpasaññā niccā vā aniccā vā”ti?
“Impermanent, sir.” … “Aniccā, bhante” …
“… perception of sounds … “saddasaññā …pe… perception of smells … gandhasaññā … perception of tastes … rasasaññā … perception of touches … phoṭṭhabbasaññā … Is perception of ideas permanent or impermanent?” dhammasaññā niccā vā aniccā vā”ti?
