Sights Rūpasutta

At Sāvatthī. Sāvatthinidānaṁ.

“Mendicants, the arising, continuation, and manifestation of regeneration of sights is the arising of suffering, the continuation of diseases, and the manifestation of old age and death. “Yo kho, bhikkhave, rūpānaṁ uppādo ṭhiti abhinibbatti pātubhāvo, dukkhasseso uppādo, rogānaṁ ṭhiti, jarāmaraṇassa pātubhāvo. The arising, continuation, and manifestation of regeneration of sounds, Yo saddānaṁ … smells, yo gandhānaṁ … tastes, yo rasānaṁ … touches, yo phoṭṭhabbānaṁ … and ideas is the arising of suffering, the continuation of diseases, and the manifestation of old age and death. yo dhammānaṁ uppādo ṭhiti abhinibbatti pātubhāvo, dukkhasseso uppādo, rogānaṁ ṭhiti, jarāmaraṇassa pātubhāvo.
