“Mendicants, the arising of perception of sights … “Yo kho, bhikkhave, rūpasaññāya uppādo ṭhiti …pe… jarāmaraṇassa pātubhāvo …pe… perception of ideas … is the manifestation of old age and death. yo dhammasaññāya uppādo ṭhiti abhinibbatti pātubhāvo, dukkhasseso uppādo, rogānaṁ ṭhiti, jarāmaraṇassa pātubhāvo. The cessation of perception of sights … Yo ca kho, bhikkhave, rūpasaññāya nirodho …pe… jarāmaraṇassa atthaṅgamo …pe… perception of ideas … is the disappearance of old age and death.” yo dhammasaññāya nirodho vūpasamo atthaṅgamo, dukkhasseso nirodho, rogānaṁ vūpasamo, jarāmaraṇassa atthaṅgamo”ti.
