“Mendicants, there are these four factors of stream-entry. “Cattārimāni, bhikkhave, sotāpattiyaṅgāni. What four? Katamāni cattāri? Associating with true persons, listening to the true teaching, rational application of mind, and practicing in line with the teaching. Sappurisasaṁsevo, saddhammassavanaṁ, yonisomanasikāro, dhammānudhammappaṭipatti—These are the four factors of stream-entry.” imāni kho, bhikkhave, cattāri sotāpattiyaṅgānī”ti.

Abhisandā tayo vuttā, Duve mahaddhanena ca; Suddhaṁ nandiyaṁ bhaddiyaṁ, Mahānāmaṅgena te dasāti.
