Homage to that Blessed One, the perfected one, the fully awakened Buddha! Namo tassa Bhagavato Arahato Sammāsambuddhassa.

Sleep softly, little nun, “Sukhaṁ supāhi therike, wrapped in the cloth you sewed yourself; Katvā coḷena pārutā; for your desire has been quelled, Upasanto hi te rāgo, like vegetables boiled dry in a pot. Sukkhaḍākaṁ va kumbhiyan”ti.

That is how this verse was recited by a certain unnamed nun. Itthaṁ sudaṁ aññatarā therī apaññātā bhikkhunī gāthaṁ abhāsitthāti.
