And what are the gods of the clouds? Katame ca, bhikkhave, valāhakakāyikā devā? There are gods of the cool clouds, Santi, bhikkhave, sītavalāhakā devā; warm clouds, santi uṇhavalāhakā devā; thunder clouds, santi abbhavalāhakā devā; windy clouds, santi vātavalāhakā devā; and rainy clouds. santi vassavalāhakā devā—These are called the gods of the clouds.” ime vuccanti, bhikkhave, ‘valāhakakāyikā devā’”ti.
