Positive (Anuloma)Yo cakkhundriyaṁ parijānissati so domanassindriyaṁ pajahissatīti?

This person will comprehend eye faculty. Will that person eradicate (mental) grief faculty? Two persons will comprehend eye faculty; they will not eradicate (mental) grief faculty. Five persons will comprehend eye faculty and also will eradicate (mental) grief faculty.Dve puggalā cakkhundriyaṁ parijānissanti, no ca domanassindriyaṁ pajahissanti. Pañca puggalā cakkhundriyañca parijānissanti domanassindriyañca pajahissanti.

Or else, this person will eradicate (mental) grief faculty. Will that person comprehend eye faculty? Yes.Yo vā pana domanassindriyaṁ pajahissati so cakkhundriyaṁ parijānissatīti? Āmantā.

This person will comprehend eye faculty. Will that person cultivate “I shall-come-to-know-the-unknown” faculty? Six persons will comprehend eye faculty; they will not cultivate “I shall-come-to-know-the-unknown” faculty. Common worldlings who will attain the Path, will comprehend eye faculty and also will cultivate “I shall-come-to-know-the- unknown” faculty.Yo cakkhundriyaṁ parijānissati so anaññātaññassāmītindriyaṁ bhāvessatīti?

Or else, this person will cultivate “I shall-come-to-know-the-unknown” faculty. Will that person comprehend eye faculty? This person will comprehend eye faculty. Will that person cultivate final-knowledge faculty? Yes.Yo vā pana anaññātaññassāmītindriyaṁ bhāvessati so cakkhundriyaṁ parijānissatīti? Āmantā.

Or else, this person will cultivate final-knowledge faculty. Will that person comprehend eye faculty? Yes.Yo cakkhundriyaṁ parijānissati so aññindriyaṁ bhāvessatīti? Āmantā.

This person will comprehend eye faculty. Will that person realize final-knower faculty? Yes.Yo vā pana aññindriyaṁ bhāvessati so cakkhundriyaṁ parijānissatīti? Āmantā.

Or else, this person will realize final-knower faculty. Will that person comprehend eye faculty? Arahat path person will realize final-knower faculty; he will not comprehend eye faculty. Seven persons will realize final-knower faculty and also will comprehend eye faculty.Yo cakkhundriyaṁ parijānissati so aññātāvindriyaṁ sacchikarissatīti? Āmantā.

This person will eradicate (mental) grief faculty. Will that person cultivate “I shall-come-to-know-the-unknown” faculty?
