āMendicants, those mendicants who explain non-offense as an offense are acting for the detriment and suffering of the people, against the people, for the harm, detriment, and suffering of gods and humans. āYe te, bhikkhave, bhikkhÅ« anÄpattiį¹ ÄpattÄ«ti dÄ«penti te, bhikkhave, bhikkhÅ« bahujanaahitÄya paį¹ipannÄ bahujanaasukhÄya, bahuno janassa anatthÄya ahitÄya dukkhÄya devamanussÄnaį¹.
